Updated Google Search News – Penguin Algorithm Update

This week on Search Engine Roundtable they discussed the upcoming Google Penguin algorithm update. They said it should be here by year in and be real time rather then just a refresh.  They also stated there is some chatter going on about some kind of Google update happening but they are not really sure what and the ranking softwares are not really reflecting anything unusual in activity. There was some conversation where Google mentioned how nofollows may not flow PageRank as they did in 2009 to the follows on the same page.  But Google has not confirmed the accuracy of that comment. For hacked site manual actions Google is testing a new feature to automatically remove the manual action when the hack is removed.  Facebook’s rich snippets has been removed from Google Serps. Google AdWords launched dynamic callout extensions.  Here is the SEO Roundtable Youtube video.
